Halloween 2012

I thought I wouldn’t be in time to draw something for Halloween, as I had no idea of what to draw this year. Suddenly, this idea came to my mind. They are my OC’s Toshi (aka Norlij) and Danielle. In this artwork they’re wearing costumes my OCs as BJD’s have worn for Halloween. You can see photos in my BJD's blog.

Son Goku - Kame-Hame-Ha!

I could have finished this artwork last month, but my laptop went into a coma and I lost the whole work TT_TT I was angry because it was almost finished and only had to add the background and lights effects, so I've had to redo the whole digital work again. Because of it and other issues in real life out of Internet, I felt down and took two long weeks to finish this artwork. Now, I'm not sure when I'm going to upload new artworks as I'm not working in anything new. Anyway, I hope to feel like doing new stuff again.

As for this artwork, "Dragon Ball" was the first Anime I loved. Thanks to Goku's adventures I began to be interested in Manga/Anime and drawing. At that age, I loved other old Anime as "Dr. Slump", "Urusei Yatsura" or "Muscle Man (Kinnikuman)". In my beginning, my style was very influenced by Akira Toriyama sensei. Fortunately, I have gotten my personal style through years of practice, so that's how Son Goku looks like in my style.

Lum

Chibi Brook

Between 2007 and 2009, I drew a collection of "One Piece" main characters drawn as chibis which were quite popular in dA, but I never drew Brook.  I have recently recoloured those old works and finally I've drawn him. Eriko Tamura

I loved this anime in the 90's! And I still have a good feeling for it.

The character has been painted in SAI! It's been my first try with this program. It's pretty fun to play with it and brushes for painting are quite "realistic" if you want to get watercolours, oil, markers and so effects.

Night Guardian

Yes, a "Spider-Man" fanart. Why this character? The answer is: he's one of my favourite super-heroes! I had this in mind for a long, long time ago and finally it's done! I want to practice with anatomy and different poses. Even I have drawn this silly background! Background are always hard to draw for me.

It's amazing how quickly I've finished this artwork. In two days I did the sketch and all the digital work!

Twins love

I haven't drawn these two characters for years. This comes from an old sketch I found a few weeks ago, I think I drew this in 2009 or so and yesterday I finished it. I've tried to do the colour in a different way, as I like to experiment with Photoshop.

As for the characters, I felt like like drawing an artwork about two male characters who love each other, and as there are different ways to love, here is shown the love between twins. That's why they look so alike.

Halloween 2011

This artwork took me a lot of hours was made for Halloween in 2011. At first, the background was too simple, just a gradient one with a few effects, but finally, I drew this background while painting it. The pumpkin wasn't in the original sketch either, after I finished the background, I found out that there was a big empty area which was distracting and that's how the pumpkin was added, so I had to add a new layer where I drew the sketch for it. Too much work, but I like what this has turned out.

Random Lars

I first drew the sketch of this artwork in a small piece of paper and forgot about it. That day I was bored and tried to draw Hiei, from Yu Yu Hakusho, but it finally turned out my OC Lars. Lately, every time I try to draw a fanart, it ends up in an original character... Here he looks a little bit similar to Sebastian, from Kuroshitsuji...

This was finished a few weeks later, in 2011.

Red Tie

This is an artwork I made in 2011 of my OC Norlij (a.k.a. Satoshi/Toshi) in tie. Seems that he’s ashamed because we can see him dressed with elegant clothes :D I drew this drawing using my BJD Norlij as a reference… Though my doll wasn’t wearing these clothes in that moment.
