At the end of May I watched the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" and there was a scene that was epic. If you have watched the movie, you will know the repercussion that has been given with Yondu and Mary Poppins and I wanted to make a fanart of it.

I started the drawing in June, but it has taken me almost two months to complete it. I was blocked in the lineart and redid some things several things on the fly.

A finales de Mayo vi la película "Guardianes de la Galaxia 2" y hubo una escena que fue épica. Si habéis visto la película, ya sabréis la repercusión que ha habido con Youndu y Mary Poppins y me dieron ganas de hacer un fanart sobre ello.

El dibujo lo empecé en Junio, pero he tardado casi dos meses en terminarlo. Me bloqueé en el lineart y rehice varias cosas sobre la marcha.

Frozen: Elsa

I wanted to draw a fanart of Elsa (Frozen) for a long time, so these last days I've been working on this drawing. Although I tried to draw her in other poses, in the end I drew her with her typical pose because I didn't like how it was turning out. There's always time to draw more fanarts.

The dress has been quite complicated to colour, I was messing with photoshop to get different textures and shines and finally came out this you can see. It's kind of weird for me to have coloured something so bright 😃

Hacía tiempo que quería hacer un fanart de Elsa (Frozen), así que estos últimos días he estado trabajando en este dibujo. Aunque intenté dibujarle en otras poses, al final la he dibujado con su típica pose porque no me terminaba de gustar. Siempre hay tiempo de dibujar más fanarts.

El vestido ha sido bastante complicado de colorear, estuve trasteando con photoshop para conseguir distintas texturas y brillos y finalmente salió esto que podéis ver. Se me hace un tanto raro haber hecho algo tan brillante 😃

PaigeeWorld Contest: Sakura Miku

And finally, here's my third entry for the mega-event in PaigeeWorld with Miku Hatsune as the protagonist in which you have to colour three linearts made by Yuratsuki. This week the chosen lineart is Sakura Miku.

This lineart has been quite complicated because it has many details and I wanted to colour the lineart. I can't calculate how many hours I have spent with the colouring because I have been doing it for several days during my free time. Y finalmente, mi tercera entrada para el mega-evento en PaigeeWorld con Miku Hatsune como protagonista en el que hay que colorear tres linearts hechos por Yuratsuki. Para esta semana el lineart elegido es el de Sakura Miku.

Este lineart ha sido bastante complicado porque tiene muchos detalles y quise darle color al lineart. No puedo calcular las horas que he invertido con el coloreado porque lo he ido haciendo entre varios días a ratos libres. PaigeeWorld Pigtails contest 2017 - Vegeta

I guess you may have been shocked to see Vegeta in that hairstyle that doesn't fit him at all 😂 There's currently a new contest at PaigeeWorld where you have draw the character/s you want with pigtails. I don't know why, I thought about drawing Vegeta in pigtails, so let's imagine that Bra has been playing with his daddy's hair 😆

I was looking for male hairstyles and I liked the one I've drawn, but it looked much better for the boy in the photo reference I used ... Still, it's been fun.

¡Primer dibujo del año!

Supongo que os habrá chocado ver a Vegeta con ese peinado que no le queda nada bien 😂 Actualmente hay un nuevo concurso en PaigeeWorld en el que hay dibujar al personaje/s que quieras con coletas. No sé porqué, se me ocurrió dibujar a Vegeta en coletas, así que imaginemos que Bra ha estado jugando con el pelo de su papá 😆

Estuve buscando peinados masculinos y este que he dibujado me gustó, pero le quedaba mucho mejor al chico de la foto de referencia que usé... Aún así, ha sido divertido.

Halloween 2016 - Eddie the Head

🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃

My favorite time of year has come and as is tradition, I have made a drawing for Halloween.

On this occasion I have made a fanart of Eddie the Head, the mascot of the Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden. The idea of this drawing came to me suddenly, but drawing it has been quite complicated because the character is extremely difficult to draw. I decided to make a version in my style, I'm not sure if my manga-anime style is recognized 😌

🎃 ¡Feliz Halloween! 🎃

Ya ha llegado mi fecha favorita del año y como es tradición, he hecho un dibujo para Halloween.

En esta ocasión he hecho un fanart de Eddie the Head, la mascota del grupo de Heavy Metal Iron Maiden. La idea de este dibujo me vino de repente, pero dibujarla fue bastante complicado porque el personaje es tremendamente difícil de dibujar. Decidí hacer una versión a mi estilo, no sé yo si se reconoce mi estilo manga-anime 😌

Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad)

Nisame and I challenged each other to draw Harley Quinn, of the film "Suicide Squad", so here you can see my version of the character. As soon as Nisame uploads her fanart, I'll update this entry to add the link to her artwork here.

It has been quite complicated to draw this character because of the amount of details she has. I quite like how it has generally turned out and as bad characters are cool, it has also been pretty fun drawing her.

Nisame y yo nos retamos a dibujar a Harley Quinn, de la película "El escuadrón suicida", así que aquí podéis ver mi versión del personaje. En cuanto Nisame suba su fanart, actualizaré esta entrada y pondré el enlace a su dibujo aquí.

Ha sido bastante complicado dibujar este personaje por la cantidad de detalles que tiene. Me gusta bastante cómo ha quedado en general y como los personajes malotes me molan, también ha sido divertido dibujarla.

Pokémon GO! Trainer & Gastly

Finally I have participated in a contest on PaigeeWorld. As now the game Pokémon GO! is fashionable, the contest is about drawing your Pokemon that has the highest CP (combat points) and an alpaca dressed in the colours of your team.

Truthfully, I don't play Pokémon GO!, but I wanted to participate. The trainer is me (actually I don't have hair so tousled, lol), I chose Gastly because I haven't seen many participants who have drawn this pokémon and have "joined" the blue team just because I like this colour. I haven't added numbers to Gastly's CP because as I mentioned earlier, I'm not playing this game.

Finalmente he participado en un concurso de PaigeeWorld. Como ahora está de moda el juego Pokémon GO!, el concurso trata de dibujar a tu pokémon del juego que tenga más CP (puntos de combate) y a una alpaca vestida con los colores de tu equipo.

A decir verdad, yo no juego a Pokémon GO!, pero me apetecía participar. La entrenadora soy yo (en realidad no tengo el pelo tan alborotado, jajaja), he elegido a Gastly porque no he visto a muchos participantes que hayan dibujado a este pokémon y me he "unido" al equipo azul simplemente porque me gusta este color. A Gastly no le he puesto número a su CP porque como he comentado anteriormente, no estoy jugando a este juego.

Fanart - Destiny 'Finding Dory'

This is the 'Finding Dory' weekend on PaigeeWorld. I haven't drawn for weeks because of lack of desire-motivation-time, so this has been a good excuse to take a pencil and draw.

Why have I chose Destiny for the fanart? I knew that most PaigeeWorld users would draw the main characters, that's it Dory, Marlin or Nemo, so I researched the new characters of the movie and I liked the whale shark. I must say that I love sharks (even I have a shark plushie). The bad thing is that I couldn't think of anything original and I ended up drawing an existing image, adapting it to my style and with a 'chibi' look.

As for the movie, I'm anxious to watch it. Next weekend is being screened in my town movie theater (yes, we only have a movie theater) and I'm going to watch it even though I think children are very annoying. I have lost count of the times I have watched 'Finding Nemo" so I'm sure this new movie is going to be very entertaining.

Este fin de semana se está celebrando el evento 'Finding Dory' (Buscando a Dory) en PaigeeWorld. Hacía semanas que no dibujaba por falta de ganas-motivación-tiempo, así que ha sido una buena excusa para sacar el lápiz y dibujar.

¿Por qué he elegido a Destiny para el fanart? Sabía que la mayoría de usuarios de PaigeeWorld dibujarían a los personajes principales, Dory, Marlin o Nemo, así que investigué a ver qué personajes nuevos aparecen y me gustó el tiburón ballena. Tengo que decir que los tiburones me chiflan (hasta tengo un peluche de un tiburón). Lo malo es que no se me ocurría nada original y terminé dibujando una imagen ya existente, adaptándola a mi estilo y con un aspecto 'chibi'.

En cuanto a la película, tengo muchas ganas de verla. El próximo fin de semana se proyectará en el cine de mi ciudad (sí, solo tenemos una sala de cine) e iré a verla a pesar de que los niños me parecen muy molestos. He perdido la cuenta de las veces que he visto 'Buscando a Nemo' y seguro que esta nueva película será muy entretenida.
