Legolas

I want to redraw some of my old illustrations and this is the first one. I have recently read the "Lord of the Rings" again and I had the wish to redraw the first and only one fanart I made of Legolas in 2003 (though I submitted it on deviantART in 2005). You can see it here: link. It's interesting to see how my skills have improved!

As in the old fanart, I tried to draw Orlando Bloom in my style.

Although Legolas is an elve, this artwork won't be included in the 100 Creatures Challenge because I want to create my own characters for it.

PS: I didn't remember how difficult is to draw his outfit, lol.

Quiero redibujar algunas de mis ilustraciones antiguas y esta es la primera. Hace poco que volví a leer "El Señor de los Anillos" y me entraron ganas de redibujar el primer y único fanart que hice de Legolas en 2003 (aunque lo subí a deviantART en 2005). Podéis verlo aquí: enlace. ¡Es interesante ver cómo ha mejorado mi estilo!

Al igual que en el fanart antiguo, he intentado dibujar a Orlando Bloom en mi estilo.

Aunque Legolas es un elfo, este dibujo no lo voy a incluir en en el Reto100 Criaturas porque para ello quiero crear mis propios personajes.

PD: No recordaba lo difícil que es dibujar su traje, jajaja.

100 Creatures Challenge - 78 - Kappa

Kappa

Second illustration of the "100 Creatures challenge". A while ago, I thought about drawing a Kappa, so when saw this creature was in the list, I had no excuse to draw it. It's not a creature I particulary like, is creepy and should not be pleasant to find one in a river while walking.

The background is fully drawn by me. I've challenged myself to draw more detailed backgrounds although I'm not good at it.

Segunda ilustración del "Reto 100 Criaturas". Hace un tiempo, pensé en dibujar un Kappa así que cuando vi que esta criatura estaba en la lista, ya no tuve excusa para dibujarlo. No es una criatura que me guste especialmente, da grima y no debe ser agradable encontrarse a uno en un río mientras paseas.

El fondo está completamente dibujado por mí. Me he retado a dibujar fondos más detallados aunque no se me de bien.

100 Creatures Challenge - 20 - Will-o'-the-wisp

Will-o'-the-wisp

First illustration of the "100 Creatures challenge". I have started with Will-o'-the-wisp because was the first creature that came to mind to draw. It has been fun because I never drew something similar in past and it turned out better than expected.

Fuego Fatuo

Primera ilustración del "Reto 100 Criaturas". He empezado con el fuego fatuo porque fue la primera criatura que se me vino a la cabeza para dibujar. Ha sido divertido ya que nunca había hecho un dibujo así y ha quedado mejor de lo esperado.

¡Lo mejor de todo es que ya estoy trabajando en la siguiente criatura! Pronto la veréis por aquí.

Year of the Goat 2015 · Año de la Cabra 2015

羊年快乐! 

Happy year of the Goat!

I hope this year of the Goat is a good one for everyone.

For me it's always a challenge to draw animals, so every year I make a small tribute to the Lunar year with its corresponding animal. Today has started the year of the Goat (or Sheep), so I have drawn this animal. It seems that I begin to draw animals better -though are in chibi style-, which is one of my  unresolved matter.

¡Feliz año de la Cabra!

Espero que este año de la Cabra sea bueno para todos.

Para mí siempre es un reto dibujar animales, así que cada año hago un pequeño homenaje al año chino con su animal correspondiente. Hoy ha empezado el año de la Cabra (u Oveja) así que he dibujado a este animal. Parece que ya empiezo a dibujar animales mejor -aunque sean estilo chibi-, que es una de mis asignaturas pendientes.

Contest entry: Aoba Echiss

My entry for NitroGobling's contest on deviantART.

While I was chosing which character to draw, I thought about chosing other two characters until I saw this one and felt in love with his design, so I had to draw him. Although it's a scene of a single character, I hope it's okay for the contest.

His name is Aoba Echiss and he's an eccentric handsome man, so here's posing like "I'm as handsome that I should be exposed in a museum like a piece of art".

To finish this artwork has taken me a whole week and lots of hours

Mi entrada para el concurso de NitroGobling en deviantART.

Mientras estaba eligiendo qué personaje dibujar, estuve por elegir dos personajes hasta que vi a éste y me enamoré de su diseño, así que tenía que dibujarle a él. Aunque sea una escena de un solo personaje, espero que sirva para el concurso.

Su nombre es Aoba Echiss y es un hombre excéntrico y atractivo, así que aquí está posando como diciendo "estoy tan bueno que debería ser expuesto en un museo como una obra de arte".

Me ha llevado una semana entera y muchas horas terminar esta ilustración
