Valentine's Day 2016 · San Valentín 2016

I don't like Valentine's Day, I think it's a ridiculous and meaningless celebration. Neither am a romantic person (even romantic movies bore me). Still, it's an excuse to draw something and as there's a Valentine's event on PaigeeWorld, I want to participate.

On this occasion I have drawn two character that I haven't drawn for years. They are Darlene Dismal and Zedkiel Bourignon.

These two characters aren't a couple. Zedkiel is in love with Darlene and she ignores him (although she doesn't want to admit it, she likes him).

I used a reference photo for drawing.

No me gusta San Valentín, me parece una celebración ridícula y sin sentido. Tampoco soy una persona romántica (incluso me aburren las películas románticas). Aún así, es una excusa para dibujar y he aprovechado el evento de San Valentín de PaigeeWorld.

En esta ocasión he dibujado a dos personajes a los que hacía años que no dibujaba. Ellos son Darlene Dismal y Zedkiel Bourignon.

Estos dos personajes no son pareja, Zedkiel está enamorado de Darlene y ella pasa de él (aunque no quiera admitirlo, en el fondo le gusta).

He utilizado una foto de referencia para el dibujo.

Twin Tails

There was a new event on PaigeeWorld last February 2nt for the twin tails day in Japan. It was about drawing a character with twin tails or taking a selfie. I decided to draw my OC Natusui because I didn't draw her for a long time and is a character that could look nice.

The trouble is that the event was announced one day to another and I made this quickly in an afternoon. They should give more days for this kind of events because people have other important things to do, as studies, work and/or home obligations. 

By the way, I forgot to colour her earring and I realized when I uploaded the drawing on PaigeeWorld and had some favourites already.

En PaigeeWold hicieron un nuevo evento el pasado 2 de febrero por el día de las coletas en Japón. Se trataba de dibujar un personaje con dos coletas o bien hacerte un selfie. Yo opté por dibujar a mi OC Natsui, que hace mucho que no le dibujaba y es un personaje que podía quedar bien.

Lo malo es que el evento se anunció de un día para otro y tuve que hacer este dibujo rápidamente en una tarde. Deberían dar más días para este tipo de eventos porque hay gente que tenemos otras cosas importantes que hacer, ya sea por tema estudios, trabajo y/o obligaciones del hogar.

Por cierto, se me pasó colorear el pendiente y me di cuenta cuando ya había subido el dibujo en PaigeeWorld y ya tenía algunos favoritos.

Ladybug

There's a new event running this weekend on PaigeeWorld. It's about drawing a fanart of the character Ladybug, from the series "Miraculous Ladybug". If I'm honest, I didn't know about this series but I wanted to participate.

This drawing has been made with my new pen tablet and has been comfortable working with it. Lines are smoother with this new pen tablet.

En PaigeeWold hay un nuevo evento para este fin de semana. Se trata de dibujar un fanart del personaje Ladybug, de la serie "Las aventuras de Ladybug". A decir verdad, no conocía la serie, pero he querido participar.

Este dibujo lo he hecho con la nueva tableta y ha sido cómodo trabajar con ella. Los trazos son más suaves con esta tableta.

Meme - Draw this again! (¡Dibuja esto de nuevo!) - Legolas 2003-2015

This meme should have been posted months ago, so I upload it now.

The fanart of Legolas on the left was drawn in 2003 and I used watercolours to paint. Last year I wanted to draw the same fanart, this time painted digitally. The evolution of my style is quite noticeable. In the next links you can see both drawings in more detail:

Hace meses que debería haber subido este meme, así que lo subo ahora.

El fanart de Legolas de la izquierda lo dibujé en 2003 y utilicé acuarelas para pintarlo. El año pasado me apeteció volver a dibujar el mismo fanart, esta vez pintado de forma digital. La evolución de mi estilo se nota bastante. En los siguientes enlaces podéis ver ambos dibujos con más detalle:
