Birthday gift for Gilster262 - Nina Bunny

This drawing is a birthday present for my friend Gilster262, from deviantART. The character is Nina Bunny, his OC. I really like her design but I have made a few small changes in the design to make it fit better with the pin up style. I have used a reference for the pose.

I needed to draw something different after so many challenges and competitions in PaigeeWorld. Currently two new competitions are held, in which I won't participate because I'm already working on another drawing of my OC's and is what I want to do right now.

Este dibujo es un regalo de cumpleaños para mi amigo Gilster262, de deviantART. El personaje es Nina Bunny, su OC. Me gusta mucho su diseño aunque he hecho unos pequeños cambios en su diseño para que encaje mejor con el estilo pin up y para la pose he usado una referencia.

Necesitaba dibujar algo diferente después de tantos retos y concursos en PaigeeWorld. Actualmente hay dos concursos nuevos en los que no voy a participar porque ya estoy trabajando en otro dibujo con mis OC's y es lo que más me apetece en estos momentos.

Aoi's Summer Memories 2016

This drawing is for another contest in PaigeeWorld. Consists in to download a template (or create your own) and show drawings of Aoi's summer memories, one of the original characters on the page. I used one of the templates offered by the page and have not seen that many people have decided to use it, I guess is because doing four drawings is a lot of work.

Another requirement was that an alpaca has to be added and Aoi (the bluehaired girl) must be accompanied by another character. The extra character I have chosen has been Nyan, another of the original characters of PaigeeWorld.

Este dibujo es para otro concurso en PaigeeWorld. Consiste en bajarse una plantilla (o crear una propia) y mostrar en dibujos los recuerdos veraniegos de Aoi, uno de los personajes originales de la página. Yo he utilizado una de las plantillas que ofrecía la página y no he visto que mucha gente se haya decidido a utilizar esta, supongo porque hacer cuatro dibujos es mucho trabajo.

Otro de los requisitos era que debía aparecer una alpaca y que Aoi (la chica de pelo azul) debía estar acompañada por otro personaje. El personaje extra que he elegido ha sido Nyan, otro de los personajes originales de PaigeeWorld.

I suddenly had the idea of the feet on the beach, so I looked for photos of feet as a reference for drawing. The feet are Aoi's.

All background and starfish are made by me with Sai.

La idea de los pies en la playa se me ocurrió de repente, así que busqué fotos de pies como referencia para dibujar. Los pies son de Aoi.

Todo el fondo y la estrella de mar está hecho por mi con Sai.

I decided to draw an alpaca plushie to complete the challenge of the contest. To give the summer touch I used a pattern with citrus fruits.

To end here we have Aoi and Nyan enjoying a day at the beach. It has been a challenge to draw the girls with swimsuits and get the ball a translucent appearance.

The beach background is a photo that with several Photoshop filters.

And here ends today's post. I would like to draw something darker and more my style, so maybe I give a respite to contests of PaigeeWorld since I'm lately drawing ideas from that page. We'll see what comes next.

A little off-topic. In my previous post I showed a fanart of Destiny (Finding Dory). I have already watched the movie and I can say that it is nice and extremely entertaining. I really liked it and I know I'll watch it as many times as 'Finding Nemo'. And little Dory is so lovely! I should also add that I was lucky with the children who went to the cinema. They were quite quietly and behaved well.

Y aquí termina la entrada de hoy. Me gustaría dibujar algo más oscuro y más de mi estilo, así que igual le doy un respiro a los concursos de PaigeeWorld ya que últimamente soy estoy dibujando propuestas de dicha página. Ya veremos qué se presenta próximamente.

Un poco de off-topic. En mi anterior entrada mostré un fanart de Destiny (Buscando a Dory). Ya vi la película y puedo decir que es bonita y tremendamente entretenida. A mí me gustó mucho y sé que la veré tantas veces como 'Buscando a Nemo'. ¡La pequeña Dory es adorable! También debo añadir que tuve suerte con los niños que fueron al cine. Estuvieron bastante calladitos y se portaron bien.

Fanart - Destiny 'Finding Dory'

This is the 'Finding Dory' weekend on PaigeeWorld. I haven't drawn for weeks because of lack of desire-motivation-time, so this has been a good excuse to take a pencil and draw.

Why have I chose Destiny for the fanart? I knew that most PaigeeWorld users would draw the main characters, that's it Dory, Marlin or Nemo, so I researched the new characters of the movie and I liked the whale shark. I must say that I love sharks (even I have a shark plushie). The bad thing is that I couldn't think of anything original and I ended up drawing an existing image, adapting it to my style and with a 'chibi' look.

As for the movie, I'm anxious to watch it. Next weekend is being screened in my town movie theater (yes, we only have a movie theater) and I'm going to watch it even though I think children are very annoying. I have lost count of the times I have watched 'Finding Nemo" so I'm sure this new movie is going to be very entertaining.

Este fin de semana se está celebrando el evento 'Finding Dory' (Buscando a Dory) en PaigeeWorld. Hacía semanas que no dibujaba por falta de ganas-motivación-tiempo, así que ha sido una buena excusa para sacar el lápiz y dibujar.

¿Por qué he elegido a Destiny para el fanart? Sabía que la mayoría de usuarios de PaigeeWorld dibujarían a los personajes principales, Dory, Marlin o Nemo, así que investigué a ver qué personajes nuevos aparecen y me gustó el tiburón ballena. Tengo que decir que los tiburones me chiflan (hasta tengo un peluche de un tiburón). Lo malo es que no se me ocurría nada original y terminé dibujando una imagen ya existente, adaptándola a mi estilo y con un aspecto 'chibi'.

En cuanto a la película, tengo muchas ganas de verla. El próximo fin de semana se proyectará en el cine de mi ciudad (sí, solo tenemos una sala de cine) e iré a verla a pesar de que los niños me parecen muy molestos. He perdido la cuenta de las veces que he visto 'Buscando a Nemo' y seguro que esta nueva película será muy entretenida.

Fanart - Son Goku and Arale

Lately I feel like drawing fanarts, so today I show you the last one I've drawn. Many years ago, when I didn't have my own style yet and my inspiration was Akira Toriyama, I used to draw many fanarts of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump was another of my favourite anime series. Once I drew a fanart like this one of Son Goku and Arale, main characters of their respective series. A few days ago I saw it again while I was taking a look at one of the folders where I have kept my drawings from my childhood and adolescence and I wanted to redraw it again. Which I didn't remember was that the drawing was copied from an image that probably was published in the manga or a magazine:

Últimamente me ha apetecido dibujar fanarts, así que hoy os muestro el último que he dibujado. Hace muchos años, cuando aún no tenía un estilo propio y mi inspiración era Akira Toriyama, solía dibujar muchos fanarts de Dragon Ball y Dr. Slump era otro de mis anime favoritos. En una ocasión hice un dibujo como este, de Son Goku y Arale, protagonistas de sus respectivas series. Hace unos días lo vi mientras ojeaba el dossier donde tengo guardados mis dibujos de parte de mi infancia y adolescencia y me entraron ganas de volver a dibujarlo, lo que no recordaba, es que el dibujo lo copié de una imagen que seguramente apareció en el manga o alguna revista:

As for the Sailor Moon colouring contest, I finally didn't win any award. I don't care anyway, what matters is that I enjoyed it.

Como veis, a mi nuevo fanart le he dado mi estilo personal por completo y poco queda ya de la influencia de Akira Toriyama.

En cuanto al concurso de coloreado de Sailor Moon, finalmente no gané ningún premio. Aunque tampoco me importa, lo importante es que lo disfruté.

Meme - Draw this again! (¡Dibuja esto de nuevo!) - Marlisha 2010-2016

I should have posted this meme last month.

Marlisha is a character I created in 2010. In the left you can see the first drawing I made of her. Lineart was made with Manga Studio and Photoshop for colour and background. In the right you can see the new design of Marlisha, which drawing was posted last month. Lineart and colour is made with Easy Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop for the background.

Esto tendría que haberlo subido el mes pasado.

Marlisha es un personaje que creé en 2010, a la izquierda podéis ver el primer dibujo que hice de ella. El lineart lo hice con Manga Studio y el color y fondo con Photoshop. A la derecha podéis ver el nuevo diseño de Marlisha, cuyo dibujo subí el mes pasado. El lineart y el color está hecho con Easy Paint Tool Sai y el fondo con Photoshop.
