Happy New Year 2016! · ¡Feliz año nuevo 2016!

Another year is ending to start a new one. Although this blog is about my artworks, I have made a card with a photo of three of my dolls to wish you all a happy new year 2016, that all your dreams come true and have health to enjoy the surprises that this new year has prepared for you all.

Otro año se nos va para empezar uno nuevo. Aunque este blog sea sobre mis ilustraciones, he hecho una felicitación con una foto de tres de mis muñecas para desearos a todos un feliz año nuevo 2016, que vuestros sueños se hagan realidad y gocéis de salud para disfrutar de las sorpresas que este nuevo año os tenga preparadas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas has arrived, so as usual I have made an illustration to congratulate my followers.

Usually I draw sexy boys and/or girls for the Christmas card, but this time I decided to draw something different. As drawing animals is still my weak point, I have made the effort to draw a Shiba Inu dog. I really like these dogs with foxy look.

¡FELIZ NAVIDAD!

Ya ha llegado Navidad, así que como de costumbre he hecho una ilustración para felicitar a mis seguidores.

Normalmente dibujo chicos y/o chicas sexys para la postal navideña, pero en esa ocasión he decidido dibujar algo diferente. Como dibujar animales sigue siendo mi punto flaco, he hecho el esfuerzo de dibujar un perro de raza Shiba Inu. Me gustan mucho estos perros de aspecto zorruno.

Charles Creature Cabinet's Halloween Event "Drawing Designing" contest

The BJD company 'Charles Creature Cabinet' is holding a Halloween event contest in which you can win their upcoming bat anthro Batty Boo. I couldn't resist to enter this contest and designing my little bat, you may know that bats are my favourite animals ever and I love Halloween. It's been a lot of fun to make this drawing.

Yes, I know bats aren't blue. I wanted to give a fantasy touch giving it my favourite colour.

La casa de BJD 'Charles Creature Cabinet' ha organizado un evento de Halloween en el que puedes ganar su nuevo murciélago anthro Batty Boo. No he podido resistirme para participar en este concurso y diseñar a mi pequeño murciélago, como ya debéis saber, los murciélagos son mis animales favoritos y me encanta Halloween. Ha sido muy divertido hacer este dibujo.

Sí, ya sé que los murciélagos no son azules. He querido darle un toque de fantasía dándole mi color favorito.

PaigeeWorld - 100+ Followers!

As you know, this summer I joined PaigeeWorld, a social network for artists. I discovered this site thanks to zugaikotsu-no-joo (dA) and I'm pretty happy because there are a very good atmosphere and good artists who to share drawings and photographs with.

The community is quite young, yet there are also registered artists with more experience and I've even been surprised with the quality of the drawings of many of the younger artists.

Como ya sabéis, este verano me uní a PaigeeWorld, una red social para artistas. Esta página la descubrí gracias a zugaikotsu-no-joo (dA) y estoy bastante contenta ya que hay muy buen ambiente y buenos artistas con los que compartir dibujos y fotografías.

La comunidad es bastante joven, aún así también hay registrados artistas con más experiencia e incluso me he sorprendido con la calidad de los dibujos de muchos de los artistas más jóvenes.

Black Cat

First drawing for Halloween. On PaigeeWorld have organized several challenge-competitions for Halloween and this is the first one in which I've participated. The theme is "Black Cat" and you have to draw yourself, your Original character or a PaigeeWorld character as a witch or wizard with their magical animal. I decided to draw Maiko, my original character, because she is a witch, so in this illustration you can see her with her pet, a clever black cat ready to help her in her missions.

Maiko predicts in her crystal ball that PaigeeWorld will be a page with a good future.

There are other two challenges, but I don't think I'll have time to participate in both.

Primer dibujo para Halloween. En PaigeeWorld han organizado varios reto-concursos para Halloween y este es el primero en el que he participado. El tema es "Black Cat" (gato negro) y se trata de dibujarte a ti mismo, a tu personaje original o a un personaje de PaigeeWorld vestido de bruja o brujo acompañado por su animal mágico. He decidido dibujar a Maiko, mi personaje original, porque es una bruja, así que en esta ilustración podéis verle con su mascota, un gatito negro la mar de listo que le ayuda en sus misiones.

Maiko vaticina en su bola de cristal que PaigeeWorld va a ser una página con un buen futuro.

Aún hay dos retos más, pero no creo que me de tiempo participar en ambos.

Vegeta

Last illustration before attending the course of dog grooming. In this post from my blog Valkyrie Memories you can read more about this.

I just felt like drawing Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z), one of my favorite characters that is in the top 5 of my list. This was a character I fell in love with as soon as I saw it and, as usual, was a villain first despite he joined to the heroes team.

It has been interesting to draw a muscly guy as normally I use to draw sinewy skinny guys XD

Dragon Ball will always be a very special series to me because thanks to it I started to draw manga-anime style.

Última ilustración antes de asistir al curso de peluquería canina. En esta entrada de mi blog Valkyrie Memories podéis leer más sobre esto.

Me apetecía dibujar a Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z), uno de mis personajes favoritos que están en el top 5 de mi lista. Éste fue un personaje del que me enamoré nada más verlo y, para variar, empezó como villano a pesar de que se pasó al bando de los héroes.

Ha sido interesante dibujar a un tío cachas ya que normalmente suelo dibujar delgaduchos fibrados XD

Dragon Ball siempre será una serie muy especial para mí porque gracias a ella empecé a dibujar a estilo manga-anime.

Go Team Aoi!

There's a new challenge-contest at Paigeeworld. Users have been divided into two teams whose leaders are the mascots of the page; Nyan, a red haired she-cat, and Aoi, a blue haired girl. As I couldn't chose a team because I liked both, I drew lots and joined the team of Aoi. So the girl in this artwork is Aoi.

Users who have joined teams have to draw our "leader" and post the drawing to other sites to promote PaigeeWorld and this way to earn points for the team, so I left the watermarks that are required to participate. For the moment there is very little difference between teams, so no one knows who will win until the end. If my team finally wins, all members will get a special pin in our profile and will be a winner for each team that will receive a special prize and three other team winners will get minor but interesting prizes.

If you you want to join and participate, you have time until the 13th of this month.

Edit (18 Sep): Finally won team Aoi! So in my PaigeeWorld profile I've got a pin of Aoi that says that has been the winning team. The best is that they have algo given a pin as a consolation prize for team Nyan. I like that it has been a friendly competition

En PaigeeWorld hay un nuevo reto-concurso. Los usuarios nos hemos divido en dos equipos cuyas líderes son las mascotas de la página; Nyan, una chica gato pelirroja, y Aoi, una chica de pelo azul. Como no me decidía por un equipo porque me gustaban los dos, lo eché a suertes y me uní al equipo de Aoi. Así que la chica de este dibujo es Aoi.

Los usuarios que nos hemos unido a los equipos, tenemos que dibujar a nuestra "líder" y subir el dibujo en otras páginas para promocionar PaigeeWorld y de esta forma conseguir puntos para el equipo, por eso he dejado las marcas de agua que se requieren para poder participar. Por ahora está la cosa reñidísima, así que no se sabe quién ganará hasta el final. Si finalmente gana mi equipo, a todos los miembros nos darán un pin especial en nuestro perfil y habrá un ganador por cada equipo que recibirá un premio especial y otros tres ganadores más por equipo que recibirán premios menores pero interesantes.

Si os queréis unir y participar, tenéis tiempo hasta el día 13 de este mes.

Edición (18 Sep): ¡Finalmente ganó el equipo Aoi! Así que en mi perfil de PaigeeWorld he conseguido un pin de Aoi que notifica que fue el equipo ganador. Lo mejor es que al equipo Nyan también les han dado un pin como premio de consolación. Me gusta que haya sido una competición amistosa.

Paigeeworld "Jellyfish" Challenge

Fifth and last drawing for the challenge-contests at Paigeeworld. The theme of the challenge is "Jellyfish" and you can see my entry here. This time I tried to draw something a little more realistic.

I particularly liked this theme because I like jellyfish, I think they are very elegant animals. Yes, I know they bite beachgoers with their tentacles, but I must say I'm on the side of jellyfish because people are invading their territory XD

El quinto y último dibujo para los reto-concursos en Paigeeworld. El tema del reto es "Medusa" y podéis ver mi participación aquí. En esta ocasión he intentado dibujar algo un poco más realista.

Este tema me ha gustado especialmente porque me gustan las medusas, me parecen unos animales muy elegantes. Sí, ya sé que pican con sus tentáculos a los playistas, pero tengo que decir que estoy del lado de las medusas porque las personas son las que invaden su territorio XD

Paigeeworld "Alpaca" Challenge

The fourth drawing for the challenge-contests at Paigeeworld. The theme of the challenge is "Alpaca". Drawing animals has always been my weak point, anyway I try to draw them cute and funny ^^

Paigeeworld "Cupcake" Challenge: Kawaii Creepy Cupcake

Another drawing for one of the challenge-contests at Paigeeworld. The theme of the challenge is "Cupcake", so as I already drew a cupcake as a birthday gift for a friend and which I didn't participate with because I didn't know about the challenges yet, I have made a new drawing.

I wanted to do it with a more sinister touch but without losing that cute touch. And as I had more time with this picture, I could work more on it.

The next theme is "Alpaca" and have time to upload it 'till the 16th. Drawing animals is my weak point, but I'll get it ^^

Otro dibujo es para uno de los reto-concursos en Paigeeworld. El tema del reto es "Cupcake", así que como ya hice un pastelito de estos como regalo de cumpleaños para un amigo y con el que no participé porque no me había enterado de los reto-concursos, he hecho otro dibujo nuevo.

Éste he querido hacerlo con un toque más siniestro pero sin perder ese toque bonito. Y como he tenido más tiempo con este dibujo, he podido trabajar más en él.

El próximo tema es "Alpaca" y tengo tiempo de subirlo hasta el día 16. Dibujar animales es mi punto flaco, pero lo conseguiré ^^

Paigeeworld "Unicorn" Challenge: Chibi unicorn

This drawing is for another contest-challenge at Paigeeworld. As I said in my previous entry, it's five challenges and in the second one you have to draw a unicorn. Yesterday ended the deadline to participate, so I came just in time as did a quick drawing on Saturday to upload it yesterday in my Paigeeworld account.

As you can clearly see, my unicorn is inspired by "My Little Pony". The logo on its thigh was required to participate, but I changed watermarks. You can see my entry here.

The next theme is "Cupcake" and have time to upload it until the 12th, so keep an eye because I'll upload my drawing soon.

Este dibujo es para otro reto en Paigeeworld. Como comenté en mi anterior entrada, se trata de cinco reto-concursos y en el segundo hay que dibujar un unicornio. Ayer terminó el plazo para participar, así que entré justo a tiempo ya que el sábado hice el dibujo a toda prisa para poder subirlo ayer domingo en mi cuenta de Paigeeworld.

Como se puede ver claramente, mi unicornio está inspirado en "My Little Pony". El logo que tiene en el muslo era un requisito para poder participar, aunque cambié las marcas de agua. Podéis ver mi participación aquí.

El próximo tema es "Cupcake" y tengo tiempo de subirlo hasta el día 12, así que estad atent@s porque en breve subiré mi dibujo.

Paigeeworld Candy People challenge: Candy Yoko

I have recently registered in an art page called Paigeeworld art. Currently there are five challenges that anyone can join and in which they raffle small gifts and if you complete them all, you can win a gadget.. It's silly, but I've decided to do them all, although I'm not sure if I will be in time to finish enter in all of them because they give very few days to finish the drawings.

This is the first one I have made, which subject is "Candy People". I have drawn my original character Yoko, She's a Gothic Lolita girl who likes candies. Here you can see my entry, in which watermarks are different because they are required for the challenge.

Recientemente me he registrado en una página de arte llamada Paigeeworld. Actualmente hay cinco retos a los que cualquiera puede unirse en los que se sortean pequeños regalos y si los completas todos, ganas un gadget. Es una tontería, pero he decidido hacerlos todos, aunque no sé si me dará tiempo participar en todos porque dan muy poquitos días para terminar los dibujos.

Éste es el primero que he hecho, cuyo tema es "Candy People" (algo así como personas y caramelos). He dibujado a mi personaje original Yoko, una chica Gothic Lolita a la que le gustan los dulces. Aquí podéis ver mi participación, en la que las marcas de agua son diferentes porque así lo requiere para el reto.

Lily Skadi: Mini me · Mini yo

As you can see, already I've changed the name of the blog to update it with my current nick. So I needed a new header and got down to work to draw this artwork. I'm drawing my mini-me cat-shaped for years, so I've draw myself in this way once again.

You have also seen that I have completely changed the blog template. Now it looks similar to my other two blogs, Genwaku and Valkyrie Memories. Each one has its special design, but I wanted them to have things in common and this one is a mix of the two. I haven't changed the background of the blog because it's hallmark and I still like it (I love that blue hue). I know my blogs have a neutral design, neither male nor female. I think it's better that way because neither I'm very feminine and I don't like my blogs to have a cheesy design.

After this drawing, I'll upload the next drawings I will make.

Como habéis podido comprobar, ya he cambiado el nombre del blog para actualizarlo con mi nick actual. Así que necesitaba cabecera nueva y me puse manos a la obra para hacer este dibujo. Llevo años dibujando mi mini-yo con forma de gato, así que he vuelto a dibujarme de esta manera.

También habéis podido comprobar que he cambiado completamente la plantilla del blog. Ahora es más parecido a mis otros dos blogs, Genwaku y Valkyrie Memories. Cada uno tiene su diseño especial, pero quería que tuviesen cosas en común y éste es una mezcla de los dos. El fondo del blog no lo he cambiado porque ya es seña de identidad y me sigue gustando (me encanta ese tono azul). Sé que mis blogs tienen un diseño neutral, ni femeninos ni masculino. Pienso que es mejor así ya que yo tampoco soy muy femenina que digamos y no me gusta que mis blogs tengan un diseño pasteloso.

Después de este dibujo, ya iré subiendo los próximos dibujos que vaya haciendo.

New URL address · Nueva dirección URL

As I said in my previous entry, I have changed my nickname. Before I was Diabolikal Lily and now I am Lily Skadi. I have managed to make the change in almost all forums and web sites where I have an account. In deviantART I can not change it because I would need a premium membership and I refuse to give money to a page that every time they do an update or open a discussion, I'm laughing to keep from crying. The last thing was this: link.

They basically they say that art theft in internet does not exist because there is anything physical to "steal". Really? Although the thing not stop here and drop more atrocities. I have often reported "theft" on that page and never got those "thieves" be banned or warn for misconduct. Now I fully understand why. This does not happen in other art sites, where you are require to upload only artworks that you have done and if you upload something that is not yours, depending on severity you run the risk of being banned temporarily or lifetime in that page. Sometimes make me want to close that account and send deviantART to piss off definitely, but I have friends there and that stops me because really, this page is becoming a substitute for Facebook and similar social networks.

After unburden myself with this topic, I want to let you know that in the following days I will change the blog URL address, becoming the following:

Please make a note because I do not know if searching through the current URL it will be redirected to the new one automatically.

I also have almost ready the new blog header, so the change will be imminent.

Como ya comenté en mi anterior entrada, cambié mi nick. Antes era Diabolikal Lily y ahora soy Lily Skadi. He conseguido hacer el cambio en casi todos los foros y páginas donde tengo una cuenta. En deviantART me es imposible cambiarlo porque necesitaría una cuenta premium y me niego a dar dinero a una página en la que cada vez que hacen una actualización o abren un tema de discusión, me hacen reír por no llorar. Lo último fue esto: enlace.

Para los que no entendáis inglés, básicamente dicen que el robo artístico en internet no existe porque no se "roba" nada físico. ¿En serio? Aunque la cosa no queda ahí y sueltan más barbaridades. Muchas veces he denunciado "robos" en esa página y nunca conseguí que esos "ladrones" fuesen baneados o se les avisase por mala conducta. Ahora comprendo perfectamente por qué. Esto en otras páginas artísticas no sucede, es más, te exigen que subas solamente ilustraciones que hayas hecho tú y si subes algo que no te pertenece y dependiendo de la gravedad, correrás el riesgo de ser baneado de forma temporal o de por vida en esa página. A veces me dan ganas de cerrar esa cuenta definitivamente y mandar a deviantART a tomar por viento, pero tengo amigos allí y eso me frena porque de verdad, ésta página se está convirtiendo en un sucedáneo de Facebook y otras redes sociales similares.

Después de desahogarme con este tema, decirlos que voy a cambiar en los próximos días la dirección URL del blog, pasando a ser el siguiente:

Por favor, apuntadlo porque no sé si al buscar a través de la URL actual se redirigirá a la nueva automáticamente.

También tengo casi lista la nueva cabecera del blog, así que el cambio va a ser inminente.

Lily Skaði: New nick · Nick nuevo

Finally I have decided to change my nick. I usually use the name "Diabolikal Lily" everywhere, but I've got tired of that "diabolikal" and had been thinking for a time of changing it. As I like "Lily", I wanted a "last name" that had some kind of relationship with me. I have decided to use Skaði from a test I did a while about who Norse goddess I would be, where I got as result this goddess (of winter), so from now on I will sign as Lily Skaði and in my next illustrations I will change my watermark although in other sites (deviantArt and forums) have to keep being Diabolikal Lily.

I need a new banner for this blog.

A curious fact, the name Skaði could mean "Goddess of hell". One way or another, there's still something diabolical in my nick, lol.

Finalmente he decidido cambiar mi nick. Suelo usar el nombre "Diabolikal Lily" en todas partes, pero me he cansado de ese "diabolikal" y llevaba tiempo pensando en cambiarlo. Como "Lily" me gusta, quería un "apellido" que tuviese algún tipo de relación conmigo. He decidido utilizar Skaði por un test que hice hace tiempo sobre qué diosa nórdica sería, en el que me salió como resultado esta diosa (del invierno), así que a partir de ahora firmaré como Lily Skaði y en mis próximas ilustraciones cambiaré mi marca de agua aunque en otros sitios (deviantArt y foros) tenga que seguir siendo Diabolikal Lily.

Necesito un nueva nueva cabecera para este blog.

Como dato curioso, el nombre de Skaði podría significar "diosa del infierno". De una forma u otra, sigue apareciendo algo diabólico en mi nick, jajaja.
